YMCA SWIMMING RULES

the rules are also applied to water slide park

  • Life Jacket must be (Coast Guard Approved) for youth and children
  • A supervising companion (16 or older) must always accompany any child 11 and under years
  • NO swimming Noodles and Tubes are permitted in the YMCA swimming Pool
  • No running or horseplay, no spinning, kneeling, tumbling
  • No trains and train ridding while in pool or swimming park
  • NO diapers allowed in pool area, or little swimmers
  • No food allowed
  • One person at a time on the swimming pool board
  • No Glass containers allowed (swimming area and swimming slide park)
  • Appropriate swim attire only. No rivets or zippers allowed on clothing
  • Lifeguards and attendants monitor guest safety, but they should not be considered supervision for your child; including the water slide park.
  • Clothing that is revealing and has vulgar content is not permitted.
  • Swimming pool closure and water slide park may close due to severe storms and or lightning in the area; other circumstances may occur please be patient. If lightning is in the proximity, the YMCA reserves the right to close for 30 minutes or longer/ or
  • until the storm is finally cleared.
  • The YMCA is not responsible for items that are lost, damaged or stolen.
  • The YMCA is not responsible for any accidents that can be prevented by obeying posted rules or lifeguard instructions
  • The YMCA requires all guest/members to obey all written warnings and directions and to behave in a manner that will cause or contribute to injury of others.
  • Failure to abide the rules that are regulated to protect the general public from injury to yourself and/ or others can result in the removal, suspension or banning from the YMCA swimming and water park
  • Refunds will not be given

WATER SLIDE PARK

  • No life jackets are permitted on slides
  • A supervising companion (16 or older) must always accompany any child 11 and under years
  • No running or horseplay, no spinning, kneeling, tumbling
  • Exit as soon as you finish- do not idle as there are others waiting in line
  • No pushing, shoving while standing in line
  • Do not enter or cross roped off areas
  • Exit as soon as you finish
  • No climbing on the water slide walls
  • No summersaults are permitted on the water slides
